The water season typically runs on select dates from May through September, so check the operating calendar before planning your visit. The park's hours and operating days vary throughout the year.
One thing I particularly like about Sesame Place for younger children is that all of the rides, water attractions, shows and parades are included with park admission. Tickets are currently advertised starting at $49.99, although prices vary by date.
Best for: Preschoolers and elementary-age kids, especially Sesame Street fans.
Good to know: General parking currently starts at $35 per vehicle.
My take: If your children are in the roughly 2–8-year-old range, I'd put Sesame Place higher on the list than some of the larger theme parks. The rides and water attractions are geared toward younger children, so they don't spend the day watching older kids ride attractions they're too small to enjoy.
